God Works

When you get something new, you pretty much expect it to work. I mean that's why you bought it right? Well, this applies with God. If you give your life to him (that's your payment), God can be counted on to work (and He doesn't need batteries lol). He only wants you to put your faith into action and depend on Him for all of your needs. Believe me, God truly works.


In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Faith

True faith is when you can believe in God for something totally out of the ordinary. Many of us aren't afraid to ask God for the little things (today's test, or relief from today's stress). However, today I challenge you to believe in God for something way bigger than yourself. God wants to test your faith and bring you to places you couldn't even imagine. So just have a little faith, well A LOT!

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us

Spiritual Growth

We can't get stuck on the first floor with God. He wants to elevate us to beyond the highest level. No one is perfect, so we may fall to the floor below us, but that should just motivate us to do better. We shouldn't make the same mistakes over again, but learn from them. We must learn to persevere through the trials, the storm and the rain. Persevere through the loneliness, heartache, and pain. God will not let go of your hand and will remain with you every step of the way.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Make HIS name Great

Are you quick to call the name of Jesus when something goes wrong? Does God enter your mind when you're having the best day?
God wants our thoughts, motives, and actions to be based on Him. Our lives should be based on His word. Do all you can to make HIS name Great.

My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations," says the LORD Almighty.
Malachi 1:11

Prayer

Words are powerful. God's Word contains much power. Your prayers have power as well. A simple conversation with God can have a huge impact on your day. Pray multiple times a day. Share everything with God.
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
Luke 11:9

Stress Relief

School is wrapping up, so it seems many things are happening at once. This rush of events,emotions,and situations can create stress in our lives and turn us away from God. We must remember to seek HIM first in All things. Ask God to relieve your stress and he will do so if you obey His word. Your faith is being tested so be wise and choose God. Know that these problems are only for a season. Just trust God and reap the results.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
