Life is a Roller coaster and Faith is a Walk in the Park

Life can throw all types of things at you. Many times it feels like a roller coaster. Happy at one moment and sad the next. Stress can storm in one door today and you can slip into a room of peace tonight. However, throughout this ride of twists and turns, Faith remains. Faith is like a walk in the park, it should be taken step by step. Strengthen your faith one day at a time by building up trust in God. Ask him to help you when life flips you upside down. Live life day by day and always keep Faith in the equation.

Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

Soul Surfer (2011)

I just recently watched the movie Soul Surfer after wanting to see it for a while. It was definitely worth the wait because it was amazing!!! I absolutely loved it.
I must say that this movie truly glorifies God and HIS power. God used Bethany Hamilton's life for HIS purpose and then placed her on stage for all to see.
The shark could have easily swallowed her entirely, so this definitely demonstrates God's role in her life.

It also spoke to my personal life and gave me hope that HIS will is the best for my life. I want to be used for God's purpose and also for my life to glorify HIM.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

What are you Worth?

"DROIIDDDD! "

"Oh, I just got a text. Let me check it."

Is a simple text message more important than your life?
Many of us tend to value things that seem important and put them first in our lives. We get caught up in technology, people, events, and everything BUT GOD. Yes, it is easy to let these things* rule our lives, however it is far more rewarding to allow God to take over instead. Rather than wasting time posting thoughts on Twitter and Facebook, send prayers up to God. After all communication is the key to a prospering relationship. Value your life enough to offer it to God.

Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word.
Psalm 119:37

Save Me From Myself

There are many addictions that people suffer from, but have you ever been addicted to yourself? Thinking that the world revolves around YOU, and that the sun doesn't shine until YOU wake up. Searching for the perfect swag and whatever else that will make YOU look good. Feeling that YOU accomplished everything on your own and that YOU must live to please YOU.
Well sounds like you are suffering from the ME-Factor and you must be redeemed from yourself.
You must get over yourself in order to get onto God. Then and only then will you receive the key to God's door for whom HE has much in store.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up
James 4:10

Watching God

Our eyes make the world come alive. Colors, tremendous sights, and beauty attract our eyes and make them smile. However, when asked about you will someone say "their eyes were watching God?"

Watching God is more than going to church every Sunday or Wednesday. When you watch God, you truly believe in HIS power and depend on him for everything. You step out on faith and receive results. You make HIM the center of your life. I have just one question... Are you watching God?

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

He Wants it ALL

If you have a doughnut, are you just going to eat half and throw the rest away?
God wants every part of us, not just a piece here and there. Additionally, you have to be willing to give God all of you. Use every single bit of you to obtain God's approval, for which you will be richly rewarded.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
Hebrews 10:35
